Incredible ranges as we came back from a 4x4 safari a short way outside of Queenstown, NZ
Snapped using the Canon G9 from steamer S.S. Earnslaw on Lake Wakatipu, South Island, New Zealand.
The ferocity of nature that you don't normally see on the New Zealand tourism shots of famous Milford Sound. Rain by the bucketload, instant waterfalls springing-up every few yards, wind whipping the water surface into white caps and blowing all the waterfalls horizontal so the water finally touched down hundreds of yards away from where it 'should' fall. A breathtaking (literally!) spectacle that, on reflection, was far more impressive than the 'chocolate box' imagery in the official guides. Bowen Falls.
